Valentine Box
Are you getting ready for Valentines day? I have made this darling little box, it can be filled with candy, cards etc. The finish size of it is 2″ x 6″ x 4″, its a great size to put a variety of items in. I started with Rich Razzleberry cardstock, The base is 10 x 10 scored on the long side at 2″ and 8″, and then score on the short side 4″ and 6″. The box lid is 9 1/6″ x 5 1/16″ score on all four sides at 1 1/2″ You will then need DSP paper to compliment the box, which here I used the Painted with Love Specialty DSP. For the base you are going to need 2 pieces 5 3/4 x 3 3/4, 2 pieces 5 3/4 x 1 3/4. The lid is 2 pieces 1 1/4 x 5 3/4, and then 2 pieces 1 3/4 x 1 1/4, and 1 piece 2 x 5 3/4. I used the Sure Do Love You and Heart Happiness stamp sets to make the complimentary hearts out of, I also added some Clear Epoxy Shapes that I colored with a Rich Razzleberry marker. I then added a bow with the Berry Burst Metallic-Edge Ribbon. I love to make boxes and gift bags, and this just turned out to be a really fun box. I know I went real Valentines with it, but this would make a nice gift box for a February birthday. Let me know what you think.
Have a great day.
