Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Friday Stampers!
The weekend is here! I hope everyone has big plans and that you have some time for stamping too! My cards today are in fact going out in the mail for Thanksgiving. I am sending them to friends and relatives that I will not be able to see this Thanksgiving that are usually with us on turkey day. I did two different versions of the card, all the same pieces just assembled differently. I started with a piece of Whisper white card stock 4.25 x 11 and scored at 5.5. Then added a layer of Early Espresso 5.25 x 4 that I embossed with the Layered Leaves embossing folder. I then die cut the leaves from Peakaboo Peach, Garden Green, Early Espresso, and copper foil. I added a piece of copper foil 2.5 x 5.5 and then a piece of the Painted Autumn Dsp paper 2.25 x 5.25, I just randomly placed the leaves and glue them down. I stamped the sentiment from Teeny Tiny wishes and punched out with the new label punch, and an additional piece in Garden Green. I added a peakaboo peach bow and there we have it. I didnt use any stampin dimensionals on these cards as I am mailing them and didnt want to have to add additional postage. I also topped them off with a metallic enamal heart shape.
This is my second card, using all the same elements just different placement. One thing that is really outside of the box for me was to add the bow going across the top. That is something that I usually do not do, but I think it works. Well this is it for me this week, leave me a comment on which is your favorite.
Have a great weekend.
