Happy Birthday with Falling Flowers
Good Morning Stampers!
Little frosty out there this morning, would have been great for a walk! My card today is using the Falling Flowers Stamp set from page 143 in the annual catalog. The sentiment is from the Balloon Adventures stamp set. The cardbase is Berry Burst 8.5 x 5.5, with a layer of powder pink 4.25 x 3.75 and a layer of Whisper White 4 x 3.5. On the Whisper white I took the embossing paste and the mat that looks like bricks and did a little embossing. I didnt completely fill the whisper white piece nor did I completely fill in the bricks. Once it was dry I added the flowers and stems which are die cut in Old Olive, Tranquil Tide, Powder pink and Berry burst. On the Large flower I die cut it from Whisper white and then took a sponge dauber and added powder pink ink. I cut a large oval from Berry burst cardstock and stitched oval from whisper white attached the two and adhered to the card with stampin dimensionals. On the flower I added some glitter enamel dots. Then finished the project off with a berry burst crinkled seam binding bow. If you are mailing this card you might want to check with the postman on the postage, with all the added dimensionals and the bling it might need more postage. This card is off to my aunt who is turning 80 on Saturday, if you met her you would think her more of late 60’s she is a go getter.
If you get a change go take that walk, and then come in and do some stamping!
Thanks for stopping by.
