Soaring High

HI Stampers,
Its Friday! WooHoo!!! I hope you have big plans for the weekend. My card today was used as a sympathy card, the widower’s husband was a pilot. My card base is Soft sky cardstock 8.5 x 5.5,
with a layer of Real Red, and then a layer of Whisper White. To make the illusion of the clouds, I took my scallop punch and punched out a piece of cardstock and then took my sponge and just kept sponging around the edges in Soft Sky ink, just keep moving the punched out piece and keep sponging. I then took the Lovely as a tree stamp set and stamped the large pine tree in Pear Pizzazz ink randomly, and then stamped it with Always Artichoke ink. To give the pines some depth. The airplane is stamped in Real Red ink, and I punched a 1/2″ circle from vellum to make the propeller and added brads, on the propeller and the wheels. Easy peasy! This could be a masculine birthday, thinking of you or get well card. Well thats it for me this week.
Have a great weekend!
Sheryl
