Feathery Friends

Happy Wednesday!
Its a little cold, dreary here today, typical Ohio weather before a snow!!! Today is the launch of the Stampin Blends markers from stampin up. I ordered my set a little while ago and had not had a chance to play with them. I love them! if you are a person that likes to color, they are for you. They are an alcohol based marker, they glide so smoothly when using. They can be bought in combos or purchase the entire set. Now to the card, the card base is Bermuda Bay 8.5 x 5.5, with a layer of Basic Black 2 x 5.5 and then a layer of the Whole Lot of Lovely DSP 1.75 x 5.25. I then stamped my images in Basic Black Memento ink on to thick whisper white cardstock and colored with the Bermuda Bay, Rich razzleberry, Old Olive and Pink Pirouette markers. I used the scalloped edge framelits to die cut the white and Bermuda Bay cardstock. The flower I stamped onto the thick whisper white cardstock, colored and then fussy cut it out. I used dimensionals when I attached it to the card. On the card base I stamped the flower with Bermuda Bay ink just to give it more dimension. I added basic rhinestones to all the flower centers to make it pop. I loved the way this came together, make sure to check out the markers, I’m sure you will like them.
