Day 10 of the DSP Series
Today is the last post for the Designer series paper. This card is stepping out of the box for me, I usually do not put cards together that are not lined up and precise. I hope you liked the change. There were a couple packs of the paper that I did not show as I didnt have them in my stock. The paper today that I am featuring is the Whole Lot of Lovely that is found on page 87 in the annual catalog. It is featured in a suite, which means it shows a stamp set, cardstock and all the embellishments that could be used with the paper. My card base is the Pool Party 8.5 x 5.5 with a piece of Soft Suede cardstock 4 x 6 which I ran thru the big shot using the layered leaves folder. I added a layer of the DSP 4 x3, you can see that I rounded all the corners, even the corners on the cardbase. Since I went with the oval design, I decided everything needed to be rounded. The small strip of DSP is 1.25 x 3.25. I have not used this stamp to much yet, but after using the flower and the leaf impressions, WOW, I really liked how they stamped, I especially like the leaf imagine. I die cut my oval out of Whisper white cardstock using the largest oval diecut. Then with Powder Pink, Soft Curry and Pear Pizzazz I stamped the flowers and filled in with the leaves. The sentiment was added with Black ink. I added a bow made with the pear pizzazz ribbon.
This is the final card in this series, don’t miss out on the Buy 3 get 1 Free DSP sale that runs thru October 31st. If you have any questions on anything that I used or in need of supplies please feel free to contact me or if you place an order thru my online store, make sure to link in my name so that I can send you a Thank-you gift.
