Happy Birthday

Hello Stampers!!
Everyone have a great weekend? Mine was filled with family reunion and grandsons, so all is good! Todays card is using the new embossing paste. If you have not tried this yet you will want to. It is so much fun! My card base is Rose red, with a layer of Basic Black and then Whisper White. I used the diamond mat for the embossing, and I just took a little of the embossing paste and added a couple drops of the Red Rose re-inker and mixed it up, it reminds of frosting when you’re mixing. After I had the shade that I wanted, I then took the spatula and just spread it down over the mat and filled in where I wanted to. Now when you are mixing together use small quantities that way you dont use up all your embossing paste,
or if you are like me you made to much, then use it on your mats and you will have cards for later. Once you peal off the mat you will need to rinse it in water along with your spatula as it tends to dry fast. Let your cardstock dry too, it only takes a minute or two. I then took the large Happy Birthday Thinlit and die cut it out of Basic Black cardstock and put clear wink of stellar all over it to give it some glitzy shine. I then used the Eclectic layers and die cut my flower, I did the solid base in Basic Black, and then flower detail in Rose Red, attached the 2 together and added a clear faceted gem. This made for just a fun overall card. Hopefully you will want to give the embossing paste a try, and if you need any supplies to complete this card, please feel free to try my online shop. Make sure to leave my name as your demonstrator if you will so that I can send you a Thank-you gift.
Have a great day and Thank-you for stopping by.
