Bike Ride Again
Hello stampers,
I couldnt resist, the new Bike Ride stamp set was still sitting on my table so I made another card using it. This set is SO FUN! Check out those butterflys, they are a framelit that comes with the set. There is no stamping to them just cut them out. I think they are adorable. My card base is Night of Navy cardstock 8.5 x 5.5, with a layer of Whisper white 5.5 x 3.75. and then a piece of the Woods Designer series paper .75 x 5.5″ The bike is stamped in Real Red ink on to Whisper white paper and then die cut. The wheels are Night of Navy ink onto the Whisper white cardstock and diecut. I also stamped the handle bars, seat and pedal with Night of Navy ink. When assembling the bike, it is easier if you attach the wheels and then attach the entire bike to the cardstock. I use glue dots to attach the wheels. My little puppy is stamped in Soft Suede ink and I added a Real Red bandana and then attached him with stampin dimensionals. The little basket is stamped in Crushed Curry ink onto Whisper white cardstock, the apples are stamped in Black Memento ink and colored with Real Red and Old Olive markers. The adorable little butterflies are die cut from Crushed curry cardstock. To finish off the card I added the Night of Navy Seam Binding ribbon. The sentiments if from Colorful Seasons and stamped in Basic Black ink. I also stamped the bike on the inside of the card, just half of it, so that it looks like it is getting ready to ride across the card, same with the front of the envelope. This card is so fun, and you could easily use for a birthday, get well etc.
Dont forget today is the last day to leave me a comment on what your favorite post was in July inorder to win the blog candy.
Have a great weekend, and I hope you get to stamp!
