How was everyones weekend? Did you get to do any stamping? Mine was very busy, I spent Saturday cake testing and flower ordering for my daughters wedding in Oct. of 2018, and then on Sunday we purchased 2 goats from our local fair, and what fun they are. First we had to like rebuild our pen so it looks like Fort Knox, these 2 little things can squeeze out of the smallest gap in the fence and/or pen. Its been a riot, but we finally have them contained and they are getting use to their new home. My card today was for another niece that turned 16 last week. I started out with a Melon Mambo card base 8.5 x 5.5 and then a layer of Basic Black 5.25 x 4 with a layer of DSP paper 3.5 x 3.75. I then used the new Celebration time stamp set and framelits found on page 81 in the new catalog. I have a Basic Black square first that is 2 x 2.5 and then a layer of DSP 2.25 x 1.75, and then I die cut the open frame in Melon Mambo and used the foam strips to completely out line the square so that I could make it a small shaker card. I added the metallic shapes and put the Melon Mambo outline on top. Very easy to put together. I then die cut the little flowers in whisper white and melon mambo and put on the top with a gold metallic accent. I also added some metallic stars here and there. The sentiments were stamped in Melon Mambo ink on to whisper white paper and then I fussy cut them out and attached with stampin dimensionals. I also added a small piece of Melon Mambo ribbon on them. Isnt this cute!!
