Happy Sweet 16
The month of July is just full of family birthdays for me. Today is another card for a niece that is turning 16. I started out with a card base of Melon Mambo 8.5 x 5.5″ and added a layer of Basic Black 5.25 x 4″. The I added a layer of DSP 3.5 x 4.5″ I used the new Celebration time stamp set and coordinating thinlets to make this card. I made it into a shaker card, and added the Black metallic shapes that can be found on page 197 of the new catalog. I stamped the sentiments in Melon Mambo ink on to white cardstock, I then fussy cut them out, I thought this set the card off with the fussy cutting rather than die cutting or punching out. I then glued on a few sequins and added a small piece of Melon Mambo ribbon. I thought the card finished up a little sassy and that is what I was going for. If you are in need of any supplies be sure to check in to my online store, and make sure to mark my name as your demonstrator so that I can send you a Thank-you gift.
Have a great day.
