Sharing Sweet Thoughts

Good Morning Stampers!
I hope everyone had a great weekend! My Open House on Saturday went well, a little humid, but we made it. This was one of the cards that we made at the Open House. It is using the new Sharing Sweet Thoughts stamp set on page 233 in the new catalog. The card base is Whisper White, 8.5 x 5.5, and then a layer of Real Red 5.25. x 4″, I then took a piece of Crumb Cake,
5 x 3.75″ I then took the new Pinewoods Plank Embossing folder and my Basic Black ink pad, and inked up the one of the embossing folder and then ran it through the big shot. It gave some dimension and color to the Crumb Cake. Next I stamped the glass jar in Soft Sky ink onto Whisper White cardstock and the lid in Real Red ink and die cut them with the Jar framelits. I then randomly stamped the lady bugs in Black Memento ink, and colored them with a Real Red marker. I added a piece of the new Burlap ribbon and punched my sentiment out with the label punch. I just loved the look of the lady bugs crawling everywhere. Remember when you were young and would catch lightning bugs, and then they would be everywhere, moms just loved us then!
On the inside I just stamped it to look like the jar had fallen over and the lady bugs are everywhere. I spaced it out so that there was still plenty of room to write your special note.
