Best of Birds

HI Stampers!
The Best of Birds stamp set is one that I overlooked in the catalog, and so sorry that I did, so I am making up for it now. The bird is just so darn cute, in any color that you make him.
My card base is Soft Suede, 8.5 x 5.5, with a layer of crumb cake 5.25 x 4 and embossed with the woodgrain embossing folder. I then put on a whisper white doilie, and added a Soft Suede swirl from the Swirly Scribbles thinlets. I stamped my bird in Soft Suede ink onto Whisper White cardstock. Using my watercolor pencils, I colored him in Daffodil Delight, and Soft Suede on the feathers, Pumpkin Pie for the beak, I then took the blender pens and went over it to make the color come together and softened it up. I used dimensionals to place the bird on the swirl. I then took daffodil delight and Peek-a-boo peach inks and stamped out the flowers and die cut. When I placed them on the wreath, some are popped up and some I just used glue dots. My bow is made from the Peek-a-boo peach ruched ribbon. I also die cut the little bird out in Soft suede cardstock and popped him up. This card can be used for any occasion, today it is going to be used for a Thinking of you card, which I put the sentiment on the inside. I didnt want to take from the bird on the front of the card.
