A Sneak Peak

Good Morning stampers!
Today’s post is a sneak peak of one of the cards that will be made at my New catalog Open House next week. I love these tulips, they are the new Tranquil Tulips and are a Hostess set. Which means that you need to have an order of $150.00 in order to purchase this set. I usually do not focus on the hostess sets, because sometimes they are hard for people to obtain, but I really like this set. My cardbase is whisper white cardstock 8.5 x 5.5., with a layer of Old Olive 5.25 x 4 and embossed with the new embossing folder Layered Leaves on page 211 in the new catalog.
This is one of the 3D Dynamic Textured Impressions embossing folder, so when using it, you will layer your big shot platform, the folder, and then a standard cutting plate. The Whisper white piece that I stamped on is 2.5 x 3.75. I stamped the stems and leaves with Old Olive ink, I stamped them high on the paper so that they were not totally hidden with my scalloped circle. Next I stamped my tulips, I used the solid image of the tulip first, and stamped it in Peekaboo Peach, and then the used the image that is little defined in Tangerine Tango. The stamina in the tulip is stamped in Basic Black. I then stamped another one of large tulips and fussy cut it out for the bottom one. I used the large scalloped die to die cut a piece of Tangerine Tango cardstock, and the large circle die cut. The Sentiment is from Colorful Seasons stamped in Basic Black. When attaching the scallop to the card, I used stampin dimensionals, and also on the Tulip that was added at the bottom. The sentiments in the Colorful seasons set are so meaninful, if you havent seen them yet you will want to go to page 147 and check them out. This new catalog is really full of some good stamp sets, with an abundance of ribbon. If you have not received a catalog and would like one, just let me know, I would be happy to get one out to you.
Have a great day.
Sheryl
