Best Birds Giveaway

Hi stampers!
OMG! Did anyone else miss this bundle beside me when going thru the catalog? I was going thru my catalog about a week ago, just checking to see if there was anything else that I needed before the catalog expires and there was the Best Birds Bundle on page 53. I don’t know why that set never appealed to me before, but I am glad that I ordered it. I love the birds, so if you feel the same, today is your last day to purchase it as a bundle. It is moving to the new catalog but will sell separately. So I pared this card up with the new Wood Textures DSP paper and some ribbon as my give away for June. You have from today and thru June 5th to leave me a comment on my blog, as to which was your favorite post from the month of May.
The card is on a Wild Wasabi cardbase of 8.5 x 5.5, with a layer of Real Read 5.25 x 4, and then Whisper White 3.75 x 5. I stamped the background stamp in Crumb Cake, then the branch in Wild Wasabi ink, I stamped the branch twice just to give it more leaves on the card. I then stamped the flowers in real red ink onto whisper white and real red cardstock and used the framelits to die cut them out. The sentiment is also stamped in Real Red ink. Now for my bird, I stamped in him in Black memento ink onto whisper white cardstock and got out my coloring pencils. His body is colored in Real red, crumb cake and basic black on the wings. I then took my blender pen and went over all of it to smooth out the look. Isnt he just handsome! I just love the way this card turned out.
