It’s My Party Designer Series Paper

HI stampers!

How was your weekend? Mine was great, I participated in a Stamp and Scrap Rummage sale, and was able to sell a lot of my retired stamp sets, which in turn gives me more room to order from the new catalog! Also, we got to keep my oldest grandson (Blake) for the weekend. I’ve got to tell you, there is something about grand kids that makes you want to do anything to make them happy.
He walks into the kitchen and asks for a chocolate chip cookie, and when I told him I was all out, he said thats okay I’ll wait for you to make more!! Isnt that just awesome!, so of course grandma had to bake chocolate chip cookies, he sat right there at the kitchen table and waited for his plate of cookies. The look on his face when that plate was set in front of him, makes it all worth it. Well now about today’s card, I had a pack of the Its My Party DSP paper, this is quite a pack, it was 42 sheets of 12×12 designer series paper!! So I made a card using each of the colors for the cardbase, Melon Mambo, Basic Black, Mint Macaron, Crushed Curry, and Sarah Sand. I then cut the Animal Party DSP to fit the various colors. My cardbase is 5.5 x 11″,
scored on the long side at 1.25, 4 and 6.75″. Then I folded on the creases and took my bone folder over them to burnish them good. The Designer series paper is cut at 1 x 5.25, 2.5 x 5.25,
and 4 x 5.25. You will need 1 piece of Whisper White cut 2.5 x 5.25, this piece you will want to stamp and put your sentiment on. I also cut a piece of whisper white with the large oval punch and stamped my sentiment and the confetti stamp on it, and layer each one with a scalloped punched piece of cardstock.
You will see here how the It’s My Party DSP is placed on the card along with the stamped sentiment. The stamp set that I used is Balloon Adventures. These turned out to be really fun cards, and you can change up the DSP to any coordination as it all matches! Tell me what you think!
Have a great day,
Sheryl
