Daisies Daisies
HI Stampers!
I think its going to be the summer of the Daisy. The new catalog that is coming out has this beautiful designer series paper with daisies and a punch that will punch out a daisy. You are going to really like them I’m sure. My card today is using that new Delightful Daisy DSP paper, and the paper made the card almost its self. The card base is 4.25 x 11″ scored at 5.5″ in Whisper White cardstock. I then added a layer of Old Olive card stock 5 3/8 x 4 1/8″. My DSP paper is cut 3 6/8 x 3 15/16″ and then the smaller one is 1 3/16 x 3 15/16. Once I placed them on to the Old Olive cardstock I used a piece of the new Old Olive Mini Chevron ribbon to pull the 2 pieces of DSP together. I then took the Daisy stamp from the new Daisy Delight stamp set, and stamped in Old olive ink onto whisper white and Daffodil Delight cardstock and punched them out with the new Daisy punch. I also stamped the center in Daffodil Delight ink onto Daffodil
Deligth cardstock and punched it out with 1/2″ circle punch. I attached them together and used a stampin dimensional and put it on the card. My sentiment is from Flourishing Phrases stamp set and stamped in Old Olive ink and cut with the medium oval punch and a scallop punch was used in Daffodil Delight to make the layering. Clean and simple, in no time at all this card was finished, and the Designer series paper is so busy that if you wanted you could leave off the punched out daisy and the card would be perfect. This card could be any occasion and it would fit just perfect.
I hope you get to do some stamping this weekend!
