Masculine Card with a fun Technique

Good Morning stampers!
Another beautiful sunshine day in Ohio! I’m luving it!!! I’m also luving this card and how it came together. This is a masculine card using the white wash technique. My card base is
11 x 4.25 ” scored at 5.5″, with a layer of Basic Gray cardstock 5.25 x 4. I then took a piece of Sahara Sand cardstock 3.75 x 5″ and my scoring board, and scored every 1/4″ on the cardstock. I then took my Soft Suede ink pad and just dragged it down the entire piece of cardstock. I then took my Whisper White ink pad and dragged it down the entire cardstock too, I then set it aside to let it dry. Next you will need a piece of Basic Black cardstock 2.25 x 4.25″ and a piece of Whisper white 2″ X 4″. I took the boots from the Country Livin Stamp set and stamped them in Black Memento ink onto the white cardstock. I then used the watercolor pencils to color in, using the Basic black and Gray. I stamped the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set, you could make this a Fathers Day card. I attached them together and put them on the card. I then added 3 Black candy dots to finish off my card. I love the whitewash affect and will be doing more of that in the future. Leave me a comment and tell me what you think!
Thanks for stopping by.
