Happy Birthday with the Botanicals!

Good Morning everyone!!!

Do you remember last week when I made the Mothers day card using the Botanical framelits, well I had die cut out several different pieces so I used them to make this Birthday card. I love these colors, so bright and cheerful. (I’m getting tired of all this rain!) My card base is Cucumber Crush 4.25 x 11″ scored at 5.5″. This usually makes a stand up card but I turned it sideways for this card. Next I have a layer of Melon Mambo and embossed with the Petal Burst embossing folder. I then used the deco label framelits to die cut the largest one in Daffodil Delight and then the next size in Whisper White. These framelits are retired, but you could use any set that you have on hand. I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment in Melon Mambo ink, this is a single stamp that is sold alone. I love its font and its boldness it can add to any card. My flower pieces are cut out in Cucumber Crush, Daffodil Delight, Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo cardstock. I simply just start laying the framelits on different pieces of cardstock, die cut them and then once I have done several pieces I start to assemble them. The leaves I did stamp with Basic Black ink and then diecut. I started by layering the leaves first, those I attached with snail and then the flowers I used stampin dimensionals to add some depth. I then finished it off by added the silver enamel shapes to the flowers and heart by the sentiment. You could use the basic rhinestones too. So Cool!!! Hope you like it.

Dont forget to leave me a comment, about which April post was your favorite for a chance at winning the blog giveaway.

Thanks for stopping by.
