Glimmer Paper is here!
Good Morning Stampers!
Have you had a chance to work with the new glitter paper yet? Its awesome, my first crack at it was last night and I’m lovin it!!! So easy to cut, or die cut, just remember to put the glitter side down when cutting. I just love what the glitter paper added to this card do, it really made it come to life. My card base is Rich Razzleberry 8.5 x 5.5″ the I added a layer of Wild Wasabi 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ then my Whisper white is 5 1/8 x 4 7/8″. The inks that I used are Rich Razzleberry, Wild Wasabi, Sweet Sugarplum, and Early Espresso. The stamp set is Special Reason, with the coordinating thinlets. I first die cut the largest flower out of the Sweet Sugarplum glitter paper, when doing this you need to die cut it with all the petals, and then use the large solid frame around the petals to get your flower. I then randomly stamped the flowers and leaves onto my whisper white cardstock. When stamping start with your largest flowre first because it is your vocal point, then stamp the smaller flower around it along with the leaves, keep the stamping close together, as you do not want big open spaces. When I stamped the leaf in the Wild wasabi, I then went with the stamp that I call the veins of the leaf and stamped them in Early Espresso, stamped off on a piece of scrap and then stamped on the leaf, I wanted my leaf to stand out. I then attached my glitter flower on top of the larger one with tombo glue, and added a large Rhinestone in the center. My Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Feather together stamp set, inked with Rich Razzleberry. I put a couple small rhinestones on just to balance it out. Then added a small bow made out of Wild Wasabi sheer ribbon. I just love how this card came together along with the new glitter paper. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think!
Have a great weekend
Sheryl
