Balloon Adventures
HI Stampers, I hope everyone found some time over the weekend to stamp. My card today is using the new Balloon Adventures stamp set. I started with a card base of Pacific Point 8.5″ x 5.5″,
and added a layer of Emerald Envy 5.25″ x 4″. I then took a piece of Whisper White cardstock 3.75 x 2″ and stamped the sentiment in Pacific Point ink. I then added a piece of Party Animal Designer Series Paper 3.75 x 1.75, I took a piece of the Pacific point satin ribbon and wrapped that around all my layers and attached. The bows are die cut out using the Balloon pop up dies
that can come as bundle with this stamp set. I die cut them in Pacific point and Crushed curry and layered them on the ribbon. I then added an Emerald Envy enamel shapecontent/uploads/2017/02/IMG_1976-1.jpg” alt=”” width=”3264″ height=”2448″ class=”alignnone size-full wp-image-1036″ />
in the center of the ribbon.
On the inside I used the pop up framelit from the Balloons Pop up collection and die cut the insert. You will need a piece of cardstock 8 x 4″ and then score in the center at 4″ and line the pop up framelit on the center of that and die cut it. Very easy to put together. I then simply added my DSP and stamped the balloons with the Crushed Curry, Tangerine Tango, Emerald Envy ink, and used the coordinating markers to color the balloon strings. I stamped the party banner in Pacific point ink and the sentiment in Emerald Envy. When assembling the insert, you want to make sure that you have made good crease folds on the insert and when you attach the sides you will want to make sure the center of the insert matches up to the center of your card base.
Put just a small amount of tape on the sides, so that you can adjust it if need be, then secure it.
This is a fun card for any age, I hope you will give it a try.
Thanks for stopping by.
