Just a Note

Good Morning Stampers,

I hope your weekend included some stamping. I was out of town so I tried to catch up this morning with this notecard. The colors just flowed together. I am using the new stamp set Special Reasons along with the framelets Stylish Stems. I stamped the larger flower in Daffodil Delight ink, then I made a mask of the flower and randomly stamped the smaller flower in Watermelon Wonder and Night of Navy ink onto the Whisper White cardstock. I then stamped the small flower in Watermelon Wonder on Whisper white cardstock and die cut it with the framelit. I then added a stampin dimensional and placed it onto of the Daffodil delight flower. I then die cut some solid leaves in Macroon Mint cardstock and then I used the framelits to die cut the detail of the leave in Mint Macroon glimmer paper and attached it to the solid leaf with Tomboy glue. I then randomly placed them around the flowers. The sentiment is from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set and stamped in Night of Navy ink. I also stamped the large flower in Daffodil Delight on the outside of the envelope, and on the inside of the card. The measurements for the cardbase are 8.5 x 5.5″, and then a layer of Night of Navy 5.25 x 4, and then Whisper White 5 x 3.75.
