Gift card holder
I saw this gift card on chic n scratch. com and had to give it a try, so this is my version. I took a piece of So Saffron card stock, 4.25 x 11″ and score it at 4.25, 6.5, 8.75, and 10.5″ You will then simply bend at all the score lines and fold up, the very last little fold that is only a half inch in size you want to bend down. Make sure to burnish all your folds so that the gift holder will lay flat. You will need 2 pieces of DSJP paper, I am using the Cupcakes and Carousels paper. You will cut one 4 x 2.25, and the other 4 x 1.5″ The larger piece goes on the top, use your corner rounder and round the top of the so saffron cardstock along with your DSP paper. I also cut a piece of the Bermuda Bay glimmer paper 4 x .5″ to put on that small flap. Now when you put all your flaps together you can simply staple them close or put tear n tape. The staple will be covered on the front of your gift card but not on the back and I didnt like that so I used tear n tape between the layers when putting it together.
I stamped the 2 sentiments with Bermuda Bay ink and used the new label punch for the Happy Birthday, and the triple banner punch for the other. I then took another piece of the glimmer paper and used the Balloon punch to punch out the balloon, the balloon and the sentiment are attached with stampin dimensionals. This gift card holder could be for either gender and any age. Very simple to make, so give it a try.
Have a great week, and thanks for stopping by
